 He wondered what had happened to the kid, what had his name been? Jim who was the only one besides him not in a uniform. He shakes the thought from his head as he's handed the hideous red uniform, and told he'd only be wearing it during class, since he was already a doctor and had vaccine research under his belt he'd be working in Star Fleet Medical and only take the classes he needed to actually be a doctor on a ship. 

He huffs a little the split from his wife had been rough, very rough, but they had wanted totally different things in life, Jocelyn had wanted to be a <i>doctor's wife</i> in the fashion of country clubs, with a husband who worked at some high end hospital, not a surgeon or a vaccine researcher, she didn't want a husband whose party talk was about figuring out why a deadly illness was only affecting children under the age of 12, or what surgery he had to do in the ER. She wanted the kind of doctor / husband who would talk about how he took Jenny Sue's tonsils out and she took it like a trooper. So they went their separate ways, and despite his fear of flying he found himself here. 

Then about a week in he found himself sucked into helping teach the first year cadets first aid class. 

"This should be a laugh riot." He says to M'Byga his lips twitching in a half smirk.
